The Duchess of Cambridge's Assembly on Thursday 18th of June
Did you get a chance to join in the assembly with the Duchess of Cambridge on Thursday 18th? If you didn’t, you can watch it now or watch it again, if you have already seen it.
The Duchess was talking about how being kind can help others a lot but it can help us feel better as well.
Acts of Random Kindness
Last week I gave you the challenge of doing acts of random kindness.
Please let me know if you did any of this and also let me know if I can share them on our class page in our Celebration of Learning section. It’s okay if you don’t want them shared with the class.
Have you experienced any Random Acts of Kindness this week?
I’d love to hear about them.
Why not do some more this week? The effect will be to cheer up your family and make them feel special. Or do some for your friends and/or neighbours.
‘Thank you’ cards
If someone has done something kind or thoughtful for you, you could give them or send them a ‘Thank you’ card. You could make one of your own or use one of these:

Squats: How many squats can you do in a minute?
Record the number and then try to increase the amount each day.
Why not challenge your family to do this challenge every day too?
This video will show you the correct technique.
Lego Challenge
Your Writing this week is based around a lighthouse. I’d like you to use Lego or other construction materials to make a lighthouse. You can also add the characters as well.
Or you could paint a lighthouse or make a collage of one.
