P.E. Challenge

This week, I’d like you to do a Daily Steps Challenge.  . If you have a fitbit or pedometer, you can use them to count your steps or you can count them. Or you could time yourself using a watch, clock or phone. See if you can increase the amount of steps each day.

Family game: Why not play this game with your family?

20 Questions

What you need:

  • At least two people. (The person who chooses is the Thinker and the other person or people are the Guessers)
  • A piece of paper with twenty ticks and a pen or pencil.

How to play: The Thinker thinks of a person or an object.

Everyone else can ask questions but the answers can only be ‘Yes’ or ‘No’. Each time a question is asked, cross out one of the twenty ticks. If the person or object is guessed before the end, it is that Guesser’s turn to be up. If no one guesses correctly, the Thinker has won that one and can either have another go or choose someone else to have a turn.

Mindfulness song:

A lot of things are different in your life at the moment and you might be feeling discouraged. This is a great song about not giving up when you find things difficult. Don’t give up! Keep on going!

Sing it to your family to cheer them up and sing it to your friends on the phone, too.

If you want to video yourself singing it, I will put it on our class page and you can help your classmates to keep going too.

Yoga for kids : Try this special yoga session for children to help you relax and to improve your breathing.

Have fun!
