As some of you may have seen in the news, Sunday (26.4.20) should have been the London Marathon. Unfortunately, this had to be cancelled but many people are still doing their own challenges called the 2.6 challenge. For this challenge, you have to do 2.6 or 26 of something and it can be used to raise money for charity. The reason behind the name is because the London Marathon is 26.2 miles which is where the 2.6 and 26 come in!
For your wellbeing challenge this week, I would like to set you the task of doing your very own '2.6 challenge'. You may walk 2.6 miles over the week, do 26 star jumps a day, 26 hula hoops or challenge someone in your family to shoot 26 basketball hoops or score 26 goals! Whatever you decide to do, make sure you let me know. Have fun and be as inventive as possible!
Your second wellbeing challenge this week is to teach somebody in your household, (could be an adult or a sibling) how to play your favourite game. This could be a sport, a board game, a computer game or even a game you've made up. I look forward to hearing all about it.
Below are some mindfulness colouring in sheets you might want to print and colour in or you could have a go at making your own.
