Week commencing 16th November 2020

It has been another busy week in Swansea class this week!

In English we have been retelling the story of 'The Cloud Tea Monkeys'  a tale of a young girl who goes to help her mother to work on a tea plantation. The children have worked hard to use paragraphs in their writing and have used great description throughout. We are hoping to publish these using the Chromebooks next week.

In Maths, we have been looking at factors of numbers which the children have done really well at. They are now able to sort prime numbers and composite numbers confidently. Times table practise is vital for the children both at home and at school to help them across the maths curriculum.

The children are enjoying our guided reading book 'The Explorer' by Katherine Rundell. I am really impressed by the answers that they are giving and I have seen improvements in their comprehension already.

Have a great weekend :)
