Week commencing 10th May

This week, Swansea class have been working hard in all of their lessons. In Maths, we have been carrying on with our fractions work. I have been really proud of the perseverance that the children have shown in this topic as they have not found it easy. This week, we were using multiplication and division to find equivalent fractions and also to compare fractions with different denominators.

In English, we have been writing a recount of the end of Shackleton's journey. I have been so impressed with the children's adventurous and emotive language choices in these pieces.

Our Science work this term has involved life cycles and Swansea class have been watching some butterflies grow. Our butterflies are now in a chrysalis and we are very excited to see what happens to them next!

Have a good weekend!
