Week beginning 14th June 2021

This week in maths, we have been learning to simplify fractions; it has super! At first the children were not feeling confident but once they realised you simply divide the numerator and the denominator with the same number, it will easy! I have set some Mathletics based on fractions this week.

In English, we started our new book 'The Queens's Tale' which is a version of Snow White but from the evil Queen's point of view. We have spent this week making inferences about the Queen, Snow White and Frank.

In JIGSAW, we will be learning about Relationships, Puberty and Life Cycles (parts of the body). This is to make them aware of the bodily changes they'll start to experience as they grow older. Any questions please do ask me or Mrs Scanzi.

We do learn about personal hygience this and the importance of deodrant in the hot weather and due to their sweat glands growing.

Next week is sports week! Please can the children come in their PE kits and Monday is our dance ceremony. If the children could wear clothing of blues, reds and yellows that would be great! They can wear face paint too.

Its a wet and windy weekend sadly but enjoy it! laugh
