Week begiinning 26th April 2021
We have had a productive week this week! The children have been writing their own 'missing' posters linked to the story 'Where's my teddy?' and writing a short recount of the book in the character of Eddy the main character. In maths we have been learning about identifying part-whole models including missing parts on the models using Cuisennaire rods. Also we have been practising using and applying the language linked to measures regarding length and height.
In science we have been looking at our Sycamore tree and observing the changes and in geography we have watched some clips about life in the North Pole and drawn some of the physical features of the area.
Next week we are continuing with the story 'Where's my teddy?' and writing relating to our own experiences and learning to edit our writing. In maths we will be identifying the relationship between addition and subtraction and learning number bonds to 20 including identifying missing numbers.
Have a super Bank Holiday weekend!
