Week 7 - 14th December 2020
A fantastic final week in the Autumn term of Year 2 for Kent Class! We have continued our learning and kept up our spirits whilst getting ready for Christmas (of course!)
English
We finally wrote our instructional narratives for Wolf in the Snow. We are so proud of our writing, managing to include adverbs, adjectives, questions and subordinating clauses. Have a look at some of the examples below. We also created some artwork to do with the book!

RE
This week was full of fun festivities! We learnt loads about Hanukkah and even got to eat some doughnuts and play the dreidel game. We learnt why light was important at Hanukkah and all about the story. We also welcome Reverend Daniel who taught us about the Christmas Story and also helped us make Christingles. Finally, we looked at why light is important at Christmas time too. The lights remind us that Jesus is the Light in the World and the Stars remind us of the star over Bethlehem.

Christmas Fun!
Have a look at pictures from our Christmas lunch!
