Week 6 - 9th December 2019
This week in Maths we have been using language to express equivalent ways of making the same total and drawing equivalencies on tens frames.
In English we have been writing about life in Victorian times including finding out about Victorian schools (through drama) and learning what life was like in a Victorian workhouse by watching exerts from the musical ‘Oliver’ and by listening to the story.
The children have worked really hard on the Christmas play and have been very busy making items for the Frost Fair.
Next week we will be performing our Christmas play ‘Santa’s on Strike’ and visiting St. Martins church for a Christingle service on Wednesday morning. Please feel free to come and help out first thing Wednesday morning as you are very welcome to join us.
Don’t forget Christmas jumper day is on Wednesday and we are having our Christmas party on Friday morning.
We look forward to what should be a very exciting and enjoyable week!
