Week 6- 14th October 2019

During our computing lesson this week, we discussed the different uses of the internet and how these things were done differently before the internet was invented. After this, we began to talk about coding and programming. We went on a website called 'Code for Life' and played a game where we had to give the car the correct coding instructions to navigate around the different roads. We showed great teamwork and helped each other if we got stuck. It was a fun session and we learned a lot!
In English this week we wrote and edited instructions on 'How to Catch a Dragon.' We came up with some inventive ideas and used the features of instructions to write them such as time conjunctions, imperative verbs and adverbs. We then edited them to ensure that we had included enough detail for our reader. Have a read of some of them and see what you think!
