Week 6 - 12th October 2020
Our highlight of this week was burning our houses we build to replicate The Great Fire of London. We stood outside and watched the fire start in the bakery and spread rapidly to the other houses. Within 7 minutes, the entire of our 'Pudding Lane' was burnt to ash.
We started the week by exploring sharing and sharing with remainders. We then looked at equality and inequality balances. We have done this by using scales, the symbols <,> and = and using key words such as balances, more than and less than.
Scaredy Squirrel has been our focus this week and learning all about his Perfect Plan to make the Perfect Friend. We have extended our sentences using conjunctions and focussed on questions and statements.
