Week 6 12th - 16th October

We have had a really busy week, preparing for our class assembly and getting the final cut ready! The children did really well.

As well as assembly we have been looking a decimals, multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000. The children are getting to grips with place values after the decimal point.

In science we looked at how mechanisms can help make lifting objects and moving objects easier. The children thought about an invention they could create and which used cogs, levers and pulleys. They then wrote a pitch for some support from the dragons from 'Dragons Den'!

Using persuasive language was a focus for Geography and creating a leaflet promoting Mexico for adventurous travellers.

In case you missed it. Our assembly is under the Learning tab on the top bar. Scroll down to Home Learning and we are there.
