Week 6 - 10th February 2020

On Tuesday we had 'Safer Internet Day' to learn about how to stay safe while using the internet. We talked about our similarities and differences to understand what makes us unique. We listened to three stories about how to use the internet safely. Digi Duck taught us never to put someone's photo on the internet without their permission. Buddy the dog and Smartie the penguin taught us about age ratings for games and that we must always ask an adult for help if we are not sure what to do-for example if an advert pops up for us to download a game or a video. We drew and coloured in pictures to help us to remember what we learned. The children took the pictures home so that hopefully the children could tell you all about how to stay safe on the internet.

Please click on the links below to revisit the stories with your child at home. 'Buddy the Dog's Internet Safety Story' can be found on the Twinkl website.
