Week 5 - 5th October 2020
Maths
This week in Maths we have been placing numbers on number lines, looking at the boundaries we are given. We have been using the vocabulary 'out of bounds' 'more than 'less than'. Towards the end of the week, we moved on to looking at half of a number and how there has to be two equal groups.

English
This week in English we wrote out a familiar story of Vlad and The Great Fire of London. We worked hard to say our sentences and write them down with a capital letter and full stop. We also included some of the key words from the original text.

Science
In Science this week, we ventured outside (when it wasn't raining!) and we collected some leaves that had fallen onto the floor. We did some research on what these leaves could be and wrote some key descriptive words that would help us sort them.

DT
We have continued our DT topic at looking how to create a house. We used basic joining techniques this week for 3D modelling and thought about how we could make our models stronger. We made the paper as strong as we could by rolling it up. We had to see if our structure would still stand without touching it.
