Week 4 - 28th September 2020

This week in English we were introduced to our new story 'Vlad and The Great Fire of London'. Vlad is a flea who lives between the ears of his friend Boxton (who is a rat). Together they scamper around London and watch the blazing inferno spread. We wrote character descriptions and boxed up the story.

On Monday and Tuesday we compared numbers, ordering them and speaking about how we know where they would sit on a number line. Then we have started to explore number magnitude, understanding where to place a number on a number line, within a certain range.

Seeing as The Great Fire of London is our topic, we created an inferno scene using cut up paper and black strips to make houses. The effect was really cool and we can't wait for them to dry and put them up in the classroom.
