Week 4 - 27th January 2020
This week in Hertfordshire Class we have been sequencing, retelling and acting out the familiar traditional tale of ‘The Three Little Pigs’. In Maths we have been practising counting forwards and backwards in ones and twos, and comparing amounts identifying ‘more’ and ‘less’.
We have had fun meeting Patch the school rabbit and having a good look at him. We also went to see the school fish! The children have been practising their observational drawing skills and labelling the different parts of the animals. We also had a very interesting assembly and learnt all about our school bats from Mr Peter Shepherd who came in to talk to the children.
Next week we are continuing with ‘The Three Little Pigs’ story and in Maths we will be comparing numbers and ordering numbers on blank number tracks.
