Week 4 - 21st September 2020

This week we have reading 'The Great Big Book of Families'. We have talked about what the 'title' is and how we know where to start reading the story. The children have found out that we read the words from left to right across a page and that we start reading at the top of the page. These are all important skills for when they read their own reading books.

The children have enjoyed talking about their own families and thinking about how each family is different. Some of the children have drawn pictures of their family. Others have role played being a family in the home corner and some have used the superhero action toys to rescue the dolls house family who were faced with a lion!
