Week 3 - 23rd September 2019
English
This week we have been working at creating non-chronological reports about dragons. We learned about using a title and subheadings.
We created images of our own dragons and then wrote a description of them and wrote about their habitats and diet.
Science
This week we continued our exploration of 'Living things and their habitats'.
We explored how we could make a difference to the environment by reducing waste and recycling more.

Maths
This week we have continued our learning about Place Value and Regrouping. We have been developing our recognition of the place value in each digit in three digit numbers ( hundreds, tens and ones).
Also, we have been finding ten more or less than a given number.
Next week
Maths: We will be finding 100 more or less than a given number . Also , we will be practising counting on and back in ones, tens and hundreds , including regrouping.
English: We will be reading the book 'How to train your dragon' and watching some relevant clips from the film. Our writing focus will be on writing instructions and we will be writing instructions about how to train a dragon.
Geography : We will continue to look at the UK , focusing on England and Scotland.
