Week 3 - 23rd September 2019

This week we have been reading the story of Superworm. We listened for words that rhyme and had a go at finding matching rhyming pictures. We have learnt sounds g, o, c, k and have been learning to bend sounds to make words. Children have brought home a phonics pack containing the first letter sounds taught. Please practise these sounds daily and play games using the letter cards.

In Maths we made 'unifix worms' and put them in length order. We have been learning to use words such as 'long', 'longer', 'longest', 'short', 'shorter', 'shortest.' We have been comparing the trains we have made to see whose is the  longest or the shortest.
