Week 3 16th- 20th November 2020

This week, Ulster class has been continuing to look at 'States of Matter' and we conducted an investigation looking at different types of liquids, how fast they flow and why this might be. The children had great fun racing, syrup, oil and tomato sauce and recording the time.

In Maths we have been looking at multiples and factors and taking part in some exploration of number.

English has involved some descriptive writing and using expanded noun phrases and fronted adverbials. We had some lovey descriptions of Tashi's house and the views she could see.

In Jigsaw, the children were thinking about our differences and how to avoid conflicts, finding other ways to say things so no offence is caused. The children enjoyed taking part in a carousel sharing what make them them and finding similarities and differences.

As a whole class reward the children wanted tea and biscuits and after earning enough marbles... tea and biscuits were served. Keep up the good work Ulster!!
