Week 3 - 14th September 2020

In Maths we have been learning about and using positional language.  Also we have practised using and reading ordinal numbers in a range of contexts.  In our P.E. lesson we had a go at making whole turns and half turns to the left and the right which was quite tricky!

In English we have been practising letter formation and reading 'tricky' words.  As part of 'Book Week' we have also been writing about why we think the World is such a wonderful place.  Have a look at some of our examples below!

Besides this we have also had 3 challenges to try during CIL time and the children have really enjoyed trying these - sometimes working independently and sometimes with friends.

Next week we will be reading the story 'Stanley's Stick' and collecting our own sticks to use and write about using ideas from our own imaginations! In maths we will be learning to identify turns - half turns and three quarter turns to the left and the right.  We will also be starting our 'Great Fire of London' history linked topic.
