Week 2 - 2nd March 2020
This week Exeter Class have been hit by chicken pox! Hopefully all children who have been unwell are feeling better and will be back soon-they have all been missed!
The rest of the class have been enjoying Book Week. We have been reading a story called 'We're All Wonders' and thinking about what makes us unique. The children have written a sentence to say how they are feeling-and we have tried to use words more exciting than 'happy' or 'sad'! The children have also painted a self portrait. The work we have completed this week will be going on display in the 'Words in the Wood' exhibition at Hertswood School in June.

It was lovely to welcome some of the children back after school for Book at Bedtime on Wednesday evening. The children enjoyed listening to the bedtime stories, drinking hot chocolate and eating biscuits.
And then Thursday was World Book Day!! The children looked amazing in their costumes! We went to the assembly and took part in the parade around the playground to see what characters everyone had come as. The children will receive their World Book Day token which can be exchanged for a special World Book Day book or used as a £1 voucher for any other book.
