Week 2 - 13th January 2020
The second week back we had our WOW morning! A really big thank you to those children who came in dressed up as a Greek.
Plymouth, Oxford and Middlesex class had a fantastic morning exploring life during the Ancient Greece period. They learnt some Greek dance moves, tasted some Greek foods such as olives, pitta and tzatziki, created a Greek mask and a mosiac tile.
Later in the week, the children went on to exploring some Greek artefacts and thought about how the Greeks may have used them. They were all stunned when they discovered the Greeks used to a water pitcher as a timer and that women couldn't vote!
We have a lot more learning to come about the Greeks and hopefully the children are sharing what they have learnt.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
