Week 2 - 13th January 2020

This week we have been learning about shapes. We have been learning the names of 2D shapes-circle, rectangle, triangle and square and 3D shapes-cube, cuboid, cone, pyramid, sphere, cylinder. The children have been learning to use mathematical language to describe the shapes. They have been counting the edges and the vertices and identifying the shape of each face. The children have been drawing shape pictures and building models using 3D shapes.
