Week 2 - 11th November 2019

Pictures 1, 2 and 3

This week in Literacy, we have been researching famous inventor and their inventions. We have also looked into limerick poetry and have identified the features. Our final product of the week was to combine the two and write our own limerick poetry on our famous inventors and their inventions. Here are some great examples!

We have started Science this week and have been learning about light sources and shadows. We conducted an experiment on how shadows are created and discovered that light travels in straight lines. Here is an example of our work and a great explanation of how a shadow is made.

Next week

We continue to find out more about light and reflection in Science. In Maths, we will be looking into the relationship between multiplication and division facts and rehearsing division facts. In Literacy, we will be learning about new paper reports.
