Week 1 - 2nd to 6th of November 2020

This week we have been practising for our Class Assembly and we were excited about sharing it on this webpage on Friday but as you know, school was closed on Friday due to the burst water main, so sadly we couldn't record it . In the afternoon, we had some children missing and we didn't want to leave them out.

We hope to record it on Tuesday morning and then upload it as soon as possible afterwards. We think that you will enjoy finding out about what we have been learning this term and  hope that you will join in with our song.

In English this week , we started work on our book : Not lost! . We have been enjoying the story and really like the main character who is calles Mini Rabbit or

MR .

We did some work on what dialogue means and used speech marks or inverted commas

We talked about what makes a comlete sentence and we added the missing word and punctuation to some sentences using our puple pens that we use for editing.
In Maths this week, we continued our focus on understanding the value of each digit in a three digit number and on ordering them.
This week in R.E. we are going to be discussing Remembrance Day  and why it is important to commemorate it every year.
