VISITOR ALERT!!

This week, we were lucky enough to have a local polar explorer visit us! Bob, has visited both the South and North Pole as well as many mountains. We told us all about the different equipment you need when going on a polar expedition but also showed us many great photos and video clips from his many journeys.  We all enjoyed our visit from Bob and learned lots!

In English this week, we continued our quest for securing a place on Shackleton's ship, Endurance. We wrote interview questions and interviewed one another! Later on in our English lessons, we started looking at the features of cinquains and have started to write our own based around The Weddell Sea.

In Maths, we have been looking at BODMAS. BODMAS is the order of operations! I have been extremely impressed with the children's understanding of this concept and how they have approached all Maths learning this week.

In PE, we have begun our Watford FC Positive Minds programme. This is getting us to begin thinking about your future move to secondary school.
