See Mars Like Never Before! NASA's Perseverance Rover Sends New Video and Images of the Red Planet

NASA's Perseverance Mars Rover safely touched down on the Red Planet on Feb. 18. So what will the robotic scientist "see" on her descent and what will she do...

Our new topic for this half term is 'Animals including humans'

L.I. - To find out about and describe the basic needs of animals, including humans, for survival (water, food and air).

Task 1 -

Imagine you were going on a trip to Mars and discuss what you would need to take with you!  Write out your list of items - you can add reasons or give explanations for why you would need to take that item!  Don't forget to think about your basic needs - what will you need to be able to survive?!

Journey to Mars

L.I. - To describe the importance for humans of exercise, eating the right amounts of different types of food, and hygiene.
First of all watch this slide show to learn about different types of food and find out which kinds of foods are important for staying healthy.

As an astronaut or scientist staying on Mars it would be very important to stay healthy and fit.

Task 2

I would like you to plan a healthy diet for yourself which has a good balance of different food types.
