Last week we were learning about amphibians. This week we will be learning about insects.  

Lesson 5:

To identify and name a variety of common animals including fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals and insects.

Success criteria:

I can identify and name common animals

I can gather information to answer questions.

With help, I can record and communicate my findings in a range of ways and begin to use scientific language.

Now we are going to learn about a very important insect - the bee!  Watch this powerpoint to find out more. 

Now you have watched the powerpoint try to complete the life cycle of the bee just like we did for a frog last week!  Then read all about bees and try the facts challenge!  Have a go at labelling the parts of the bee from what you have learnt.
