Science

Our new unit of Science is 'Plants' which we will be learning about over the next few weeks. Below you will find a Powerpoint and some activities to support you with this week's lesson.  The worksheet has three different challenges (indicated with either one star, two stars or three stars). Only complete the one challenge that suits your confidence level. If you do not have a printer, create your own folding plant leaflet using paper and pens or pencils.

Lesson 1:

To name the different parts of flowering plants and explain their jobs.

Success criteria:

To name the different parts.

To explain what each part of the plant does.

When you are on your daily walk, or whilst out in your garden, why not look at as many different plants as you can find and see if you can spot their different parts? You could even sketch some and label the parts.
