This week in maths we will be practising reading and writing the days of the week as well as ordering the days correctly.  Will will also be practising using the terms 'yesterday' and 'tomorrow'. Join in with this song first to remind yourselves of the order of the days.  Do you remember the 'days of the week' songs we normally sing in class?!

Days of the Week Song | The Singing Walrus

Now let's have a practise at reading and recognising number names to twenty.  Print off this bingo game at home to play with your family!

Extra challenge!

I would be fantastic if you could practise writing out all of the days of the week yourself in the correct order.  Remember they all need to have a capital letter at the start.

Also it is important to be able to write numbers not only as digits, but also as number names so first of all practise writing number names to ten, then have a go at numbers to twenty!

Good luck and I look forward to seeing the results!
