This week in Maths we will be looking at translations (the movement of shapes) and reflections. Our live Zoom sessions will focus on this and as usual they will take place on Monday and Friday at 10am. On Thursday, you will be doing a maths fluency task which is not linked to this topic. Maths fluency will give you an extra practise of key maths skills to ensure that these are still built upon. There will also be Mathletics tasks to complete on Thursday. I have also included some 'Oak National Academy' lessons at the bottom of the page to supplement learning on this topic. These do not have to be used but will help if you are not sure or will give an extra overview of the topic.

Monday- L.I. To use co-ordinates to describe position.

Tuesday- L.I. To translate shapes.

Wednesday- L.I. To reflect patterns.

Resources Thursday- Maths Fluency task and Mathletics

Friday- L.I. To translate and reflect in the first quadrant.
