This week in Maths we will be finishing off area and then looking at perimeter. Remember that when we work out area, we multiply the height by the width and with perimeter we add the length of the sides. On the days where there are multiple sheets, choose the challenge that best suits your confidence level.  Thursday's session does not have a Powerpoint to go with it but will bring together your learning from Tuesday and Wednesday so use these Powerpoints if you are finding it tricky. On Friday, I have set some Mathletics tasks and also uploaded an area and perimeter sheet that will bring the learning from the last two weeks together.

Monday- To find the area of compound shapes.

Tuesday- L.I. To find the perimeter of squares and rectangles.

Wednesday- To find the perimeter of compound shapes.

Thursday- L.I. To solve problems with perimeter.

Friday- area and perimeter assessment
