Easter Project

With the Easter ‘holidays’ approaching, I won’t be setting new work daily, but I would like you all to take part in an eggsiting Easter project. The options for this are:

  • To design and play an Easter-themed board game as a family.
  • To decorate a hard boiled egg, similar to how we did the design a potato competition (we are aware that they may be in short supply so please remember to eat them afterwards, don’t let them go to waste!).
  • To design a ‘vehicle’ which can transport a hard boiled egg from one side of a room to another.

Whichever project you choose, please send in photos or videos to me (exeter@shenley.herts.sch.uk) and we will post some of the eggsellent submissions on both our Instagram and Twitter!

I would also like you to continue with daily reading and should you wish to do more Maths or Literacy, the links to all activities are still available on here.

Have a fantastic Easter!

Jasper decided to do a dinosaur project so lots of the activities were based around this, including making a dinosaur skeleton out of sticks he found on one of his walks and making a dinosaur game. He also did some Spring focused activities and these included planting seeds and making a 'peg chick'! Jasper's parents also put some Lego men into water and put them in the freezer for Jasper to 'free' (it kept him busy for ages!!)!
