Jasper has been really enjoying the addition work and has been using a 0-9 dice to create sums. He has enjoyed retelling the Jack and the Beanstalk story, as well as the other activities. He did a video chat with one of his Grandad's and his aunty for his well being work and showed them what he has been doing, as well as making and posting them a Rangoli pattern he did for each of them. He has started keeping a diary for the seed he planted and enjoyed learning about the India flag.
Charlie has been very busy this week completing the literacy and maths activities. He has also been practising his letter formation.
Alex has been busy planting his beans, finding out about India and doing his maths.
Olivia-Mae has made a tower as long as she is! I wonder how many cubes she used?
Skyla has been really busy. She has used a game to help her recognise the sounds in a word and try to spell them out and then wrote the words herself.She made a cinema ticket for her very own home cinema to watch trolls 2. She has practised addition and subtraction and her mum wrote numbers 10-20 on the patio and Skyla counted the right number of stones in each square. She drew and wrote cards for a couple of her friends and then went and posted them. She went for a walk in the woods balancing across a bridge and she found a worm!
Alea has been on a plant hunt and has been practising spelling and handwriting.
Archie has been working really hard in his learning about Jack and the Beanstalk!
Myla is really enjoying the story of Jack and the Beanstalk and has been doing some writing. She has collaged the Indian flag and her sister helped her locate India on the world map!
Arien has been counting with table mats!
Harry has built Jack's home with Mum and made a room for a cow and a hen. He has built his own beanstalk, planted some sunflower seeds, counted beans and written two sentences about Jack and what he saw.
Daniel has done some maths, using lego as his counters and he made up his own sums. He has also really enjoyed his literacy task. Daniel has done some work on Phonics Play and has had a go at spotting digraphs in words. He has found India and England on a map and coloured his flag. He then turned it into an actual flag.
Ruby has been counting backwards from ten using the hopscotch.
