Hi Swansea class we have completed another week, while safe at home. I have had such a lovely time, reading stories, looking at words with suffixes, seeing Mexican Maya posters, art projects, science seed investigation and Maya mat weaving. I will add a selection of examples that people have sent me.
At the end of all your work, I have included a couple of photos to show you what I have been up to when I'm not recording stories, setting activities or chatty to you on email
You are all doing brilliantly, I am so proud of you all!
While I was at my allotment planting lettuces, potatoes and sowing seeds (spinach, beetroot, rocket, and chard) I found this in my shed, I hope I didn't scare the parents away as they left behind a very important thing:
I took part in a Frida Kahlo Art webinar and produced this picture of Frida! my children think its a bit scary, but I kind of like it!
I have been out enjoying the fabulous outside areas we have in Shenley and met some very playful lambs and sheep. I have been baking and making. One of the activities that makes me feel better when I can't focus on my work is gardening. I love plants. I have started to grow some sunflowers. If you have some seeds- you could sow them and we can have a competition to see who has the tallest sunflower!
