Autumn 2 Week 2 - 9th November 2020

This week Nursery have been learning about the Hindu celebration Diwali. We watched the story of Rama and Sita and learned how Hindu's celebrated Diwali.

On Wednesday we tried some Indian food including samosas, onion bhajis, poppadoms and naan bread with mango chutney sauce. On Thursday we used clay to make diva lamps which we will be decorating once they dry.

We also talked about Remembrance Day this week and watch the Cbeebies video 'Poppies' and talked about how the rabbit in the story was feeling. Some children chose to make poppies to take home with them.
